Front Office Staff

Joe Gregory has served as the General Manager of the Norfolk Tides since October 4, 2011. He also previously served as the Vice President of the Norfolk Admirals Hockey Club from 2008 through the 2015-16 season.

Gregory came to Norfolk after serving as the General Manager of the Youngstown SteelHounds of the Central Hockey League from 2006-2008. In that capacity, Gregory ran the day-to-day operations of the SteelHounds. During Gregory's tenure in Youngstown, the season ticket base increased by 70 percent and he negotiated the team's first NHL affiliation.

Gregory graduated from Youngstown State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Gregory worked as both the Coordinator of Tournament Operations and the Coordinator of Sales and Marketing at the Giant Eagle LPGA Classic in Vienna, Ohio. He had been working at the tournament as an operations assistant prior to that since high school. After his time with the LPGA, Gregory became the Director of Business Development for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, a Short-Season Class-A baseball team affiliated with the Cleveland Indians. There, he oversaw all sponsorship and advertising sales and cultivated community relationships.

Mike Zeman has been with the Norfolk Tides since the 2006 season. Zeman was born and raised on a farm in Humboldt, Iowa. He graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Sports Management and Business Management. While attending Iowa State, he worked for the Triple-A Iowa Cubs for three years in the operations department. Zeman enjoys the variety of his daily work and provides a safe, fun environment for fans to enjoy Tides games.

He currently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Christina and their two daughters, Ava and Isla.

Mike Watkins joined the Tides in 2006. Over the course of his career, he has worked in many aspects of the business from Sales and Customer Service Intern with the Seattle Mariners to Media Relations and video board work with the Tides. He enjoys working with local, regional and national brands to craft creative corporate sponsorships that deliver results here with the Tides. He is a proud two-time graduate of Old Dominion University. In addition to servicing numerous corporate sponsorship accounts, he also enjoys working with our talented staff to plan many of the exciting promotions taking place each season, marketing for the team and the overall fan experience at the ballpark, including the video boards at Harbor Park. You will occasionally see him join the Tides promotions team to help provide on-field entertainment for all Tides fans.

In his downtime, he is active in the fight against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, particularly with the Team Gleason Foundation. In addition to his interest in finding a cure for ALS, Mike and his wife Christina, are very passionate about their work in the fight to find a Cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). They both know that one day CF will stand for Cure Found. When he isn't at Harbor Park, he enjoys spending time with his wife, vacationing, playing softball and cheering for the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Old Dominion Monarchs and New Orleans Saints.

Maggie is a Senior at Liberty University with a major in Sports Management. Prior to the Tides, Maggie was the Lead Merchandise Intern with the Norfolk Admirals and successfully ran a karate school as their Program Director.

Maggie is originally from Michigan but has been in Virginia for 10 years. When Maggie is not at Harbor Park, she enjoys hiking with her dogs or playing pick-up softball or soccer games. She is a dedicated fan of the Boston Bruins, the Red Sox, and Manchester United as well as the Detroit Lions.

Briana was born in Lake Forest, Illinois but moved to Virginia when she was 11. She graduates in May 2025 with her Masters of Business Administration from The College of William & Mary.

Briana was apart of the Promotions Crew in the 2022 and 2023 seasons before she joined the front office full-time in 2025.

When Briana is not at Harbor Park, she loves to play volleyball, read, and take her dogs Honey & Wrigley to explore. She is a lifelong Chicago Cubs & Bears fan. Bear Down!

John Stanley joined the Tides as Director of Communications in June 2021. Prior to accepting the position, he was a Media Relations Intern with the Kansas City Royals.

After graduating from Ithaca College in May, 2016 with a B.A. in journalism, John moved to Norfolk, VA and served as the Director of Communications and Interns for the Virginia Beach Collegiate Baseball League (VBCBL). From there, he earned his first internship in professional baseball with the Norfolk Tides for the 2017 season while still working with the VBCBL for a second season.

John would go on to work for two other Triple-A minor league teams as a Media Relations Intern. In 2018, he moved to Salt Lake City, UT to work for the Salt Lake Bees (Triple-A for the Angels) and moved to Nashville, TN to work for the Sounds (Triple-A for Texas) in 2019.

In 2020, John would go to Tampa, FL to work with the New York Yankees as a Spring Training Media Relations Intern. He was supposed to work for the Washington Nationals after Spring Training for the remainder of the season, but the COVID-19 pandemic ended that opportunity. Instead, John would work for a sanitizing company in the Hampton Roads area, cleaning commercial and residential buildings to help people and businesses fight the virus. Fortunately, John was able to return to baseball in 2021 to work for Kansas City.

John was born and raised in Albany, NY, growing up as a fan for the New York Yankees. He is also a proud member of the #BillsMafia.

Outside of sports, John likes to stay active, goes to the beach and values his time with friends and family.

Skyler was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in History at Christopher Newport University in 2021.

Skyler joined the Tides Front Office Staff in the 2023 season as the Creative Services Intern and rejoined full time as the Coordinator of Creative Services and Social Media Marketing during the 2024 season.

When Skyler is not at Harbor Park, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, going to the beach, photography, watching hockey and playing pickleball. She is also a dedicated fan of the Baltimore Orioles, Dallas Cowboys, and Washington Capitals!

The 2020 season is the 14th for Pete Michaud as a broadcaster for the Tides on ESPN Radio 94.1. Previously, he’s had stints as the play-by-play voice of the Springfield Cardinals of the Midwest League (1992-93), the Vero Beach Dodgers of the Florida State League (1995-96) and the Iowa Cubs of the PCL (1998).

Michaud was the longtime voice of the Norfolk Admirals hockey team, spending over 22 years with the organization - including all 15 of their seasons in the American Hockey League. Additionally, Pete's résumé includes five seasons of play-by-play work as the broadcaster for the Old Dominion University Monarchs men’s and women’s basketball programs - including NCAA and NIT tournament games - and 10 years of area high school football play-by-play. He has previously worked in local radio at WFOS, WLTY, WNIS and WTAR, while also serving as a weekend sports anchor for WAVY-TV 10 and WVEC-TV 13.

Michaud has been honored three times by the Chesapeake Athletic Club as Hampton Roads’ Most Outstanding Sports Broadcaster, taking home the honor in 2009, 2012 and 2015. In 2009, he was selected by the Norfolk Sports Club for the prestigious Abe Goldblatt Award for Outstanding Local Sports Coverage. In 2012, he was the recipient of the James H. Ellery Memorial Award, an honor presented annually by the American Hockey League in recognition of outstanding media coverage. Michaud was also selected to broadcast the 2015 Triple-A All-Star Game, and he broadcasted games on the Orioles Radio Network during the 2017 season.

When not on the air, Pete is an avid golfer and has worked for many years as a local baseball umpire with the Eastern Officials Association. Michaud is an honor graduate of Indian River High School in Chesapeake and Old Dominion University in Norfolk. He resides in Chesapeake. Nate Monteith was promoted to the Manager of Video and Audio Production after joining the Tides last season as the Media Relations Assistant. Prior to working with the Tides, Nate worked for the Minnesota Twins as an Associate Radio Producer and a Broadcast Intern.

Nate was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia where he attended and played baseball and volleyball at Oscar F. Smith High School. In 2022, he received a B.S. in Journalism and Mass Communication from North Carolina A&T State University. While at NC A&T, he was an integral part of the men’s basketball team and the football team’s coaching staff. Upon graduation, he continued his work with NC A&T Athletics where he worked as a Communication Assistant while also becoming the Director of Broadcast and Media Technology for Technical Event Management, which produces and broadcasts all of NC A&T’s home sporting events.

Heather McKeating began her career in baseball with the Tides in 1994 as an usher for four years, then moved into the Front Office in 1998. She held various roles from Front Desk Receptionist to Group Sales and finally landed in Community Relations. Leading the Tides Community Relations efforts, she created a reading program with all 7 cities, organized 14 youth field makeover projects, coordinates all non-baseball special events such as Breakfast with Santa, Valentine’s Day deliveries and her proudest event, Ladies Day at the Park. After a few years away, she is glad to be back home, working in community relations and merchandise! She looks forward to new challenges and continuing to grow her baseball resume.

Heather is proud to have been born and raised in Norfolk, she currently resides in Virginia Beach with her husband of 20 years Todd, 17-year-old Son Aidan, who both share her passion for sports. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family, friends and her Chocolate Lab, Roxie. She also likes to stay active and is proud to have completed two marathons.

Madison was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She pursued her Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management at Old Dominion University in 2020.

Madison joined the Tides gameday staff in the 2019 season as a part of the on-field promotions crew and rejoined in the 2021 season.

During her time off from Harbor Park, Madison enjoys going to the beach, shopping, and hanging out with her friends. She also a dedicated fan of the Baltimore Ravens.

Andrew joined the Tides in 2024 within the Group Ticket Sales Department after working for the Orioles High-A Aberdeen IronBirds from 2021 - 2023.

A 2017 graduate of Duquesne University (Pittsburgh, PA) with a degree in Sports Marketing, Andrew is originally from Mechanicsburg, PA.

Previous stops for Andrew include Business Development Specialist with the Lancaster Barnstormers of the Atlantic League in Lancaster, PA from 2017 - 2019. He moved to Bowling Green, KY to work as the Group Sales Manager for the Bowling Green Hot Rods (High-A for Tampa Bay) in 2020. In 2021, Andrew relocated to Aberdeen, holding various sales positions over the three years with the team.

Andrew is an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, predominantly the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. He also roots for the West Virgina Mountaineers and his alma mater Duquesne Dukes.

Bobby Pickrell graduated from William & Mary in 2022 with a B.A. in Government and a minor in History. He has served in many roles with the Norfolk Tides, from usher to bat boy, as part of the game day staff since 2016. He joined the full-time staff as the Front Office Coordinator in 2023 and is currently a group sales representative starting in 2024.

As a Norfolk native, Bobby played baseball from a young age. He was a member of district champion teams at Fleet Park Little League and Maury High School.

In his free time, Bobby enjoys watching his favorite team, the Atlanta Braves, playing golf, and spending time with his family and dogs, Giorgi and Lola.

Tristan Inman graduated from Old Dominion University in June 2022, with a degree in Sport Management and minor in Marketing.

A native to the Hampton Roads area, Inman is a lifelong supporter of the Tides. Inman joined the Tides gameday staff in 2019 as part of the on-field promotions crew and rejoined for the 2021 season. Inman joined the Tides front office in 2022 as the Group Sales Intern and was hired full time for the 2023 season. During his time off, he is an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Mike Cipolla joined the Norfolk Tides as the stadium operations manager in 2023. He was previously an intern in the Tides organization for two seasons before becoming the stadium operations manager for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers (Houston Astros Single-A Affiliate) in 2022.

Cipolla resides in Virginia Beach, VA and graduated from George Mason University in 2022.

Brady was born and raised in Arroyo Grande, California. He played baseball at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs while earning a BA in Sports Communication with a minor in Psychology in May 2024. During the summer of 2024, Lachemann began his career as a Facility Operations Intern at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. Following that, he worked as a Day of Game Associate for the San Francisco Giants during Spring Training 2025. He then moved on as a Stadium Operations Associate for the Nashville Sounds (Milwaukee Brewers Triple-A Affiliate) for the first half of the 2025 MILB season. Brady then joined the Norfolk Tides as a Stadium Operations Manager in July 2025.

Brady resides in Norfolk and during his time off, he enjoys playing golf and going to the beach.

Sze Fong has been with the organization for over 15 years. He began his tenure at Harbor Park as an usher, then proceeded to serve as an intern in the Stadium Operations department before joining the Tides full-time as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. He took over as Director of Ticket Operations prior to the 2019 season. Fong is responsible for numerous ticket-related tasks, including interacting with season ticket holders and assisting with the management of the box office.

Fong attended Old Dominion University, where he majored in Sport Management. He grew up in Virginia Beach and attended Salem High School.

When he's not at Harbor Park, Fong enjoys spending time with his family, and his dog, Beast. He resides in Virginia Beach.

Casey joined the Tides organization in the spring of 2019 as the Assistant Director of Ticket Operations. As one of the main points of contact for the box office, he works closely with season ticket holders and helps oversee the sales at Harbor Park’s ticket windows.

Casey is a 2016 graduate of Ohio University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a major in sport management. During his time off from Harbor Park, he is an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Steelers as well as Liverpool FC and the Columbus Crew.

Jack Brenner joined the Tides in 2016. Brenner has previously been a clubhouse and equipment manager for the Braves, Expos, Cardinals and Mets organizations. He's also had a brief acting career, with appearances on All My Children and a film with Mickey Rourke to his credit. Brenner also performed the national anthem at Shea Stadium prior to a game in 2005.

Scott Lorow has been the General Manager of Food Services at Harbor Park since 1996. Lorow has been in the food service field for over 40 years working for different concessionaires in Washington, DC, West Haven, CT, Long Island, NY and now in Norfolk, VA. He graduated from Alfred State College SUNY in 1981 in a degree in Hotel & Hospitality Management.

Lorow's background includes covering major political events in Washington, DC such as Presidential Dinners, Presidential Inaugurations and other political fundraisers. He has also worked at the NFL's Pro Bowl in Hawaii, Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans and the Triple-A All Star Game at Harbor Park. Lorow also covers multiple operations for Spectra in the area, overseeing events such as concerts, college basketball, minor league hockey, The Virginia Governor's Inauguration and other catered events.
