Free Rides on HRT's The Tide Light Rail and Ferry for every home game!

With limited parking available due to casino construction, fans are encouraged to skip the hassle of driving and paying for parking - take Hampton Roads Transit’s ferry and The Tide light rail services - just show your ticket.

NEW - FREE Rides on the Ferry from North Landing in Portsmouth to Harbor Park for every home game

NEW - FREE Parking at MacArthur South Garage (over 1,700 parking spaces)

  • Fans will pull a ticket on the way into the garage, the gates will be up upon exit
  • Catch HRT The Tide Light Rail at MacArthur Station, just two stops or a 15-minute walk to Harbor Park

FREE parking at three HRT The Tide Light Rail park-and-ride lots

  • Newtown Road Station (Newtown Rd. and Kempsville Rd. with 267 parking spaces)
  • Military Highway Station (Curlew Dr. and Corporate Blvd. with 235 parking spaces)
  • Ballentine/Broad Creek Station (Ballentine Blvd. and I-264 with 104 parking spaces)
  • EVMC/Fort Norfolk Station (Brambleton and Colley Avenues) - **SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ONLY**

Limited Parking Options

Limited Parking Available for $6 in Harbor Park Lots C, F, G.

  • Limited Parking at these lots will go quickly; patrons are advised to purchase in advance with their game tickets.
  • NOTE: You must have an A/B permit to park your vehicle in Lot A or Lot B.

Additional parking available at the Union Street and East Street lots for $6 on nights and weekends.

Parking at these City lots will be cashless.

  • Game day parking rates for Harbor Park Lots C, F & G as well as Union Street and East Street Lots: $6
  • Prepaid parking will be available in Lot C only starting May 13. To purchase parking in Lot C in advance, use the pre-paid online parking system.
  • Parking in remaining Harbor Park Lots (F & G) as well as Union Street and East Street lots will be cashless (credit card upon entry).
    • NOTE: Any game that is postponed due to weather will result in all credit card payments being refunded back to the customer’s account. The City's Parking Division will continue to accept any current rainout parking passes for future games until they are redeemed.

**Note - pre-pay parking for Lot C will end two hours and five minutes before first pitch on game day. Remaining spaces will be available via credit card payment on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dominion Tower Parking

Dominion Tower Garage also offers game day parking for $6.99.

  • The garage uses Metropolis Vision parking where visitors will enter the garage, park and pay using their mobile device. Scan the QR code in the garage or set up your vehicle and payment information ahead of time here.

  • Fans parking at Dominion Tower can make the short walk up the Elizabeth River Trail to Harbor Park or take The Tide Light Rail at Civic Plaza for a short ride to Harbor Park.

Transportation and Parking FAQ's

There will be extremely limited parking available at Harbor Park. We are encouraging fans to take Hampton Roads Transit’s ferry and The Tide light rail services, which will be free to those who have a ticket to a Tides game. There are also a number of parking garages available for $6 that are only a short walk to the stadium. Parking at the available City lots will be cashless via a pre-paid online parking system or by credit card upon entry. Parking at these lots will go quickly; patrons are advised to purchase in advance with their game tickets.

There will be handicap parking in lot A. We do expect those spaces to fill up extremely quickly. The Tide Light Rail and Ferry are also accessible for fans requiring assistance.

The MacArthur South Garage (over 1,700 parking spaces) will be free for fans. The garage is only two light rail stops, or a roughly 15-minute walk away from the stadium. There will also be parking available for $6 at the Dominion Tower Parking Garage.

There will be $6 game day parking available at Harbor Park Lots F, G and C. Additional parking is available at the Union Street and East Street lots for $6 on nights and weekends. Lots A/B are only available to fans with a parking pass or a handicap permit (while space is available).

Unfortunately, No. A limited number of Parking Passes were distributed to renewing pass holders and passes are sold out. The required number of Handicap spaces are available on a first-come, first served basis. The Tide Light Rail and Ferry are also accessible for fans requiring assistance.

On game days, HRT’s The Tide Light Rail trains arrive every 10-15 minutes.

On game days, HRT’s The Tide Light Rail trains will run up to two hours after each home game.

Ferry service runs from the North Landing dock in Portsmouth to Harbor Park. The service runs every 30 minutes, beginning one hour before game time, and continues until one hour after the game ends.

The ferry runs up to one hour after the game ends. Fans should make their way to the ferry dock soon after the game ends to ensure they don't miss the ferry back to North Landing in Portsmouth.

Pre-pay parking will end two hours and five minutes before first pitch on game day. Remaining spaces will be available via credit card payment on a first come first serve basis.

If a game is postponed due to inclement weather, fans who pre-paid for parking have two options with their City of Norfolk Parking:

  • Customers will receive a refund to the credit card used at the time of payment. Please note that processing time is typically 5-7 business days for refunds.
