The Birmingham Barons are excited to partner with Standout Baseball to host a youth baseball camp at Regions Field on November 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Standout Baseball believes in teaching young athletes not only the fundamentals of the game, but also the life lessons learned through sports—like hard work, focus, and confidence. This camp is a great opportunity for players of all skill levels to develop their skills on the field while learning how to be a standout both in baseball and in life.
What is the camp schedule?
- 8:30AM-9:30AM – Registrations Begins
- 9:30AM-9:45AM – Transition and Prep for Warmup
- 9:45AM-10:00AM – Warmup
- 10:00AM – Concession Stand Opens
- 10:00AM-12:00PM – Clinic on the Field
- 12:00PM-12:45PM – Lunch for Participants (if they want to purchase concessions)
- 12:45PM – Guests Depart
What type of shoes should participants wear? Sneakers or athletic shoes only. Cleats are not permitted.
What equipment is provided? Baseballs and training equipment will be provided. Participants should bring their own glove, bat, and helmet.
Is there a waiver I need to sign? Your registration through LeagueApps includes all of the necessary waivers including a photography release. By attending, participants and families acknowledge they may be photographed or filmed for team promotional use.
What should I do if my child has medical conditions or allergies? Please disclose any medical conditions or allergies at check-in.
Can participants bring food or drinks onto the field? No. Food and beverages must remain in the stands. Only bottled water is allowed on the field. Please use garbage receptacles.
