Meet Babe Ruff – the Barons’ four-legged fan favorite and the champion of hugs and high fives! With his signature custom Barons jersey and infectious energy, Babe Ruff has been bringing pawsitive vibes to Regions Field since day one.
Born right here in Birmingham, Babe Ruff is more than just a mascot — he’s the life of the ballpark! Whether dancing on the dugout or posing for selfies with fans, Babe Ruff knows how to keep the crowd cheering with excitement.
When he’s not hyping up the home team, Babe Ruff enjoys leading the charge in seventh-inning stretches. He can be seen out in the community during the off-season at schools, little league parks, parades, and other special functions.

LILLIE MAYS
Meet Lillie Mays, the Birmingham Barons’ biggest cheerleader! With charm and a whole lot of sass, Lillie Mays brings big-league energy to every game at Regions Field.
Named in honor of Birmingham’s rich baseball, Lillie Mays is all about community, creativity, and cheering on the Barons. From dancing atop the dugout to showing off her signature moves during the seventh-inning stretch, she knows how to keep the crowd on its feet.
Off the field, Lillie loves greeting fans, taking selfies, and spreading joy with her signature hugs and high-fives. Lillie Mays is often with her best friend Babe Ruff interacting with everyone around Regions Field!
