You saw the Pepper Dash bring the heat in 2025, now things are getting spicy. The Carolina Reapers have arrived: a brand-new identity born from ghost stories, graveyards, and Carolina-grown peppers.

Rooted in the eerie charm of the Carolinas, the Reapers' design draws from haunting local tales. The character himself, the Grim Reaper, carries a blazing Carolina Reaper pepper as his fiery scythe, fusing bone-chilling folklore with Carolina heat.

The Carolina Reaper pepper was born right here in the Carolinas, by Smokin’ Ed Currie, owner of PuckerButt Pepper Company. Details of the new jersey pay tribute to the Scoville scale, the scientific measure of spiciness, making this rebrand the perfect blend of spooky and spice.

What started as a fun, flavorful celebration of all things spicy now blazes the trail for our hottest (and spookiest) rebrand yet, the Carolina Reapers.
