The Richmond Flying Squirrels are thrilled to announce that our Go Nuts for Reading Program is back for the 2025-2026 school year! Students across Central Virginia set a record for participation last year, and this season we're taking it to the next level with a brand-new way for students to join the FUNN!

The program will run from October 27, 2025, to March 20, 2026, and is open to all elementary and middle school students throughout Central Virginia.

Participating schools receive:

• Option for a school-wide reading assembly with Nutzy and Nutasha appearance
• Free ticket to an exclusive reading program festival open only to students who read eight books to complete the program and parents/guardians (choose from 1 of 3 dates for your school)
• A free Flying Squirrels booklet for each student
• 20-25 tickets to a Flying Squirrels game to use at their discretion (prizes, incentives, raffles, etc.)

Registration for the 2025-26 Go Nuts for Reading Program will close on December 5, 2025.
