ROUND ROCK, Tex. - BOX SCORE HOW IT HAPPENED: Round Rock RF Dustin Harris led off the bottom of the first with a base hit and 1B Billy McKinney drove him in with a double. LF Trevor Hauver then sent McKinney around on his single and the Express led 2-0.

Round Rock RF Dustin Harris led off the bottom of the first with a base hit and 1B Billy McKinney drove him in with a double. LF Trevor Hauver then sent McKinney around on his single and the Express led 2-0.

The Rainiers drew a pair of walks to start the second. SS Leo Rivas moved the runners with a sacrifice bunt then a C Blake Hunt sacrifice fly allowed 1B Tyler Locklear to score Tacoma’s first run.

Tacoma CF Leody Taveras tallied a sacrifice fly in the top of the third to even the score at 2-2.

In the fourth, Rainiers LF Spencer Packard led off with a single then Rivas drew a walk. Hunt and DH Austin Shenton recorded back-to-back RBI singles to take a 4-2 lead.

Round Rock RF Dustin Harris cut into the deficit with a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth. The Express trailed 4-3.

After two scoreless frames, Express 3B Cody Freeman led off the eighth with a single. Hauver belted a double into the left-center gap and Freeman came around to tie the ballgame at four.

Round Rock DH Cooper Johnson opened the bottom of the ninth with a walk and advanced on SS Richie Martin’s sacrifice bunt. INF Blaine Crim came in to pinch hit for 2B Alex De Goti but was intentionally walked. Harris then launched his second home run of the night for Round Rock’s ninth walk-off of the year. The three-run shot gave the Express a 7-4 victory and its first series win since April 19.

E-TRAIN EXCERPTS:

WHAT A WEEK: Round Rock earned their first series win since defeating Reno on April 19. The Express finished the week with the Pacific Coast League’s most hits (78) and runs (58) while holding the Rainiers to the league’s second lowest runs (35). In six games against Tacoma, Round Rock scored 9.66 runs per game with at least ten hits in five of the games.

DUSTIN GETS IT DONE: RF Dustin Harris went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs scored in his 10th multi-hit game of the month. Harris delivered the E-Train’s ninth walk-off win of the season.
