Season-Best Seven-Game Win Streak Snapped, Magic Number Goes to One in Extra-Innings Loss to Reading Wednesday

The Patriots have lost in walk-off fashion for the seventh time this year. Somerset fell to 7-5 in extra-innings games this season. Both games this series have gone to extras. Somerset’s season-best seven-game win streak has been snapped. In Somerset's 47 games since the All-Star break, 39 have been decided by three runs or less, with the Patriots going 20-19 in those games. The Patriots drop to 9-5 against the Fightin Phils this season. Somerset’s nine wins are the third-most victories against any other team (22 vs. NH, 10 vs. POR).
