The Patriots have lost in walk-off fashion for the seventh time this year. Somerset fell to 7-5 in extra-innings games this season. Both games this series have gone to extras. Somerset’s season-best seven-game win streak has been snapped. In Somerset's 47 games since the All-Star break, 39 have been decided by three runs or less, with the Patriots going 20-19 in those games. Martin leads all Somerset outfielders with 174 putouts this season, good for a 98.4% fielding percentage. Martin’s 98.4% fielding percentage is the second highest of any Patriot this season with a minimum of 700.0 innings played (T. Hardman – 99.4% in 860.1 innings played).
