(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, are excited to announce the hiring of Hailey Shillabeer as the team's Manager of Merchandise and Events.

In this role, Shillabeer will help manage the Alarm Tech R-Phil Team Store. In that role, she helps decide what the store sells, how they sell it, sales strategies and marketing campaigns. Additionally, Shillabeer will work with the staff in the Redner's Event Center. She works with clients in fulfilling their floor plans and staging events in the Redner's Event Center.

Shillabeer is from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, and attended Cedar Crest High School, where she was a part of the girls soccer team. Following graduation, Shillabeer attended King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, where she majored in exercise science. She also played four years of collegiate soccer at King's College. Prior to joining the Fightin Phils, Shillabeer worked as a Merchandise Manager with American Eagles for six years. The Fightin Phils hired Shillabeer as a Merchandise Intern in December of 2024, a role she held throughout the 2025 season, prior to her promotion to full-time.

"I jumped at the chance when the opportunity was presented to me," Shillabeer said. "I'm excited to continue to work with the Fightin Phils."

Before being hired full-time by the Fightin Phils in 2025, Shillabeer worked as an intern with Reading. The R-Phils strong internship program has resulted in many of our current full-time staff. 26 of the 30 front office staff members started their career as an R-Phils intern.
