The Harrisburg Senators capped their season in thrilling fashion Sunday afternoon, rallying for four runs in the eighth inning to stun the Akron RubberDucks 5-4 at FNB Field.

Down 4-1 heading to the bottom of the eighth, Harrisburg put together a furious comeback. Johnathon Thomas and Kevin Made drew back-to-back walks to start the inning and then pulled off a double steal. Branden Boissiere came through with a huge two-run triple, cutting the deficit to one. Two batters later, Sam Brown ripped an RBI double to tie the game, and Caleb Lomavita grounded into a fielder’s choice to bring home the go-ahead run.

Boissiere led the Senators with two hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored, while Brown added two hits and an RBI. Dustin Saenz (6-7) picked up the win with 1.1 innings of scoreless relief, and Junior Santos earned his 12th save with a perfect ninth inning.
