The Harrisburg Senators fell behind early and couldn’t recover Saturday night, dropping a 9–2 decision to the Altoona Curve at FNB Field.

The game turned quickly in the second inning, when Altoona struck for six runs. Konnor Griffin delivered a two-run single, Esmerlyn Valdez followed with a three-run homer, and Nick Cimillo capped the outburst with a solo shot to make it 6–0. Later, Tres Gonzalez added his first home run this season in the eighth, and Termarr Johnson chipped in an RBI single in the ninth to extend the lead.

Sam Brown provided the lone highlight for Harrisburg with a two-run homer in the ninth, his third of the season. Branden Boissiere reached base twice, scoring ahead of Brown’s blast.
