The Harrisburg Senators lost to Erie Friday night, falling 6–2 at UPMC Park. Harrisburg had traffic on the bases all evening but went just 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position and left 11 men stranded.
Starter Alex Clemmey, making his second Double-A start, allowed five runs on eight hits in 3.2 innings, including a two-run homer by Max Clark in the fourth. The SeaWolves padded their lead with a run in the seventh to put the game out of reach.
Joe Naranjo drove in Harrisburg’s second run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth, while Branden Boissiere doubled and scored in the third inning trimming the Erie lead to 2-1. Naranjo had two of the Senators’ five hits.
