SeaWolves fans can bring their cat on a harness or in a breathable carrier to UPMC Park on Wednesday, August 20. This event may not be right for all cats, and cat owners should only participate if they feel their pet will fare well in a public space.
Each fan bringing a cat to the game must sign a waiver/acknowledgement, available at the UPMC Park ticket office, prior to entry. All fans who bring their feline pals must ensure their pet has necessary vaccinations (e.g. rabies shot) and must dispose of their pet's waste. For the comfort of all guests at the ballpark, sections 102 and 201 have been designated as cat-free areas. Additionally, Celebration Cove will serve as a gathering space for cat owners that wish to connect with each other. Cats may not be left unattended at any time.
Cat owners may bring a small towel or blanket to provide comfort for their cat. If your cat seems uncomfortable at any point, we encourage you to move to a quieter area. Stadium re-entry is permitted with a valid ticket.
Pet-related businesses can purchase a special vendor package including a concourse display space and 20 Upper Box seat tickets for $200.
Wednesday, August 20 is a single-admission doubleheader. One ticket is good for both 7-inning games. Game 2 will begin approximately 35-40 minutes after the end of Game 1.
