Chihuahuas Announce 2026 Home Schedule

EL PASO - August 12, 2026 - The Chihuahuas released their 2026 home schedule Tuesday with Opening Day slated for Tuesday, April 7, when the Chihuahuas host the Albuquerque Isotopes (Colorado Rockies affiliate), in a six-game series through Sunday, April 12.

All home series will be played Tuesday through Sunday, with Mondays off, except for Friday, July 17-19, when the team faces the Sugar Land Space Cowboys (Houston Astros). The schedule features 75 home games across 13 series, including holiday-themed games for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, and Labor Day Weekend. April will feature 12 home games, May has 12, June has 13, while July has 12. August leads the way with 14, and the regular season wraps up with 12 games in September.

Following the opening series, April continues with a six-game set against the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks) from April 21-26. The Chihuahuas then welcome the Tacoma Rainiers (Seattle Mariners) from May 5-10, with Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 10. The Round Rock Express (Texas Rangers) come to town May 19-24, leading right into Memorial Day Weekend.

Summer kicks off with Sugar Land from June 2-7, followed by a visit from Reno, June 16-21, which includes a Juneteenth matchup on Friday, June 19, and a Father’s Day game on Sunday, June 21. The month closes with a homestand against the Sacramento River Cats (San Francisco Giants) from June 30-July 5, featuring an Independence Day celebration on Saturday, July 4.

The Chihuahuas will host the Space Cowboys July 17-19 before Albuquerque returns July 28-August 2. August also brings the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels) from August 11 to 16 and the Round Rock Express from August 18 to 23.

The final stretch of the season begins with a Labor Day Weekend series against the Las Vegas Aviators (A’s) from September 1-6, and the regular season concludes with the Oklahoma City Comets (Los Angeles Dodgers) from September 15-20.
