The fan-favorite event returns, Saturday, August 16th as the Bisons host the Lehigh Valley IronPigs for Super Hero Night at the ballpark (6:35 p.m. | Gates 5:30 p.m.). And this year, on top of pictures with all your favorite Fan Costumers throughout the game and postgame Fireworks, we've added a great giveaway thanks to our partners at Nickel City Comic Con.

Everything you love about this great Sahlen Field tradition is back, so get to the ballpark early to get the great giveaway and get your pictures taken with all the great Fan Costumers located throughout the park. The Bisons team will once again wear their custom Marvel Caps and Jerseys during the game and fans can stay for an amazing Postgame Fireworks Show to cap off an incredible night at the ballpark!

The Bisons Marvel logo was specially designed for the club by Marvel animators, for the popular Marvel’s Defenders of the Diamond (Saturday, August 10, 2024)! It is unlike any other in the team’s history, featuring a fierce and determined bison battered, but undeterred, by a Western New York winter. Along with the light blue and navy blue of the team’s two alternate jerseys, additional shades of blue are used throughout to capture the chilly effects of an icy storm. And despite being covered in snow, the bison’s eyes remain firmly focused on its next opponent, ready to bring victory back to the Herd it represents.

First up is our 2nd annual Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Night as part of our fridaynightbash!® on Friday, May 19 against our arch nemesis, the Rochester Red Wings (6:35 p.m.). Get to the ballpark early for the customary Friday pre-game Happy Hour from 5-6:30 p.m. During the pre-game and game, you'll have a chance to meet and get your photo taken with The Hulk and Black Panther. Come dressed up as your favorite character and see the Bisons as they debut their custom Marvel caps and jerseys, specially designed for the team by Marvel animators. Then, stay after the game for an amazing postgame Fireworks Show!

Everything you love about this great Sahlen Field tradition is back, so get to the ballpark early to see everyone dressed in their favorite hero and villain costumes. The Bisons team will once again wear their custom Marvel caps and jerseys, but the players will autograph them postgame to be included in the customary Bisons Game-Used Autographed Jersey Auction/Raffle. Then, stay for a postgame show with Fireworks to cap off an incredible night at the ballpark!!

Our first ever Marvel's Defenders of the Diamond Jerseys have arrived. On Saturday, August 27, the Bisons players will be wearing these custom Captain America jerseys in their battle with the Columbus Clippers.
Following the game, the Bisons players will sign their game-worn jerseys so that they can be included in Jerseys Raffles during the game that night. Proceeds of the raffle will benefit the Buffalo Bisons Charitable Foundation.
