The Brooklyn Cyclones are thrilled to introduce the Most Improved Student Program for the 2026 season. The Cyclones invite your school to participate in this program to recognize your students who have worked hard to improve themselves in the classroom. This award isn't intended to be for the student with the best grades - although you can certainly nominate them. But rather, it is designed to give students who have been in the extra effort and shown a significant improvement during the 2025 - 26 school year. The students who put in the extra work, and their effort makes you proud to be their teacher. Those are the kids we want to honor and recognize.
The Most Improved Student Program is open to students in grades K-12 and must be nominated by a teacher to be eligible. Each educator may nominate one student from each class that they teach. It is important to note that this selection process is not based solely on academic achievement, factors such as development or improvement in behavioral and social aspects should also be considered.
Each student that is nominated as a Most Improved Student will receive a complimentary ticket to a selected Brooklyn Cyclones game that will be assigned once all nomination forms are received by the club. After your date is assigned, Most Improved Students tickets will be mailed, along with certificates commemorating their award. On the day of the game, students will be honored on the field in a special ceremony prior to that game (weather permitting) where each student’s name will appear on our video board while they are recognized for their achievements.
