Joe moved to the Inland Empire in 1991 and is a retired school teacher who works for the 66ers because of his deep interest in minor league baseball. He graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a BS in English Education, and has two master's degrees in education. He lives in Redlands with his wife and two dogs as their children have left the nest. He still is afflicted with the Cleveland sports curse, passed onto him from his father.
