Archbishop Hoban High School takes on St. Vincent-St. Mary High School at Canal Park at 6:30 p.m.
The Ohio High School Athletic Association and the Akron RubberDucks host the OHSAA baseball state tournament at Canal Park in early June.
State tournament pairings and ticket information will be announced closer to the event by OHSAA.
On Thursday, July 3, fans are invited to “Let Three-Dom Ring,” a special Independence Day celebration at Canal Park. Presented by 7 17 Credit Union, the evening includes A Minecraft Movie showing, followed by a dazzling fireworks display. Gates open at 6:00 p.m., the movie begins at 7:17 p.m., and tickets are just $7.17.
Cleveland Guardians President of Baseball Operations Chris Antonetti will headline the 2026 RubberDucks Hot Stove Banquet presented by BFG Federal Credit Union on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Akron.
The RubberDucks Hot Stove Banquet is open to the public, and tickets may be purchased for $150 per person or $1000 for a table (eight people).
The doors open at 4:30 p.m. for cocktails and the silent auction featuring autographed items from members of the 2025 RubberDucks and prizes from the local community.
Starting at 6:30 p.m., a full-plated meal and dessert will be served (vegetarian option available), followed by the program emceed by Ray Horner, host of the Ray Horner Morning Show on Akron’s own 1590/93.5 WAKR.

Fans can watch the Chili Peppers and Glow Mojis take the field under black light in a jaw-dropping spectacle that’s part baseball, part neon-fueled party, and 100% unforgettable. Neon uniforms, UV-reactive baseballs, and electrifying entertainment are all things fans can expect when joining the tour in 2026.

The Savannah Bananas announced they are bringing their “World Famous Baseball Circus” to Canal Park on July 2nd & 3rd, 2023.
In addition to the cast of characters, dancers, performers, mascots, and musicians, the Bananas are bringing their own twist of baseball to Canal Park. Banana Ball is a fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if it’s tied.
